At The GP we offer a sustainable, results-focused weight management program. What truly sets us apart is our integrated approach: we include strengthening, stretching and lifestyle support delivered by our qualified team in small, motivating group classes. This helps protect muscle mass and dramatically improves long-term success. If indicated and clinically appropriate we use medications such as Wegovy (Semaglutide), Contrave (Naltrexone/Bupropion) or Mounjaro (Tirzepatide). Monthly follow-ups initially cover blood tests, dose adjustment and side-effect monitoring; once stable we move to relaxed 3-monthly reviews.

Our thorough ADHD assessment and ongoing management service is designed to help you feel your best and perform well. After the initial evaluation we provide monthly follow-ups for the first three months (or until the optimal dose of potentially indicated medication is reached), then transition to 3-monthly reviews and, when appropriate, 6-monthly. Through The GP Club you also gain access to supportive lifestyle classes that build healthy habits and daily strategies for lasting wellbeing.

We support people with pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes through a structured program of targeted medication (when needed) and intensive lifestyle classes via The GP Club. Regular monitoring and coaching make sustainable change realistic and safe.

Men in New Zealand face a significantly higher risk of heart attacks and cardiovascular disease than women, yet many hesitate to seek help until problems become serious. Erectile dysfunction, low energy, weight gain, stress, sleep issues and declining confidence are common but often go unspoken.
The GP offers a dedicated, doctor-led men’s health service in a private, non-judgemental environment. We understand the pressures men face and provide practical, evidence-based support that combines lifestyle medicine with safe medical options when needed.
Our focus includes:
Heart health screening and prevention programs
Assessment and management of erectile dysfunction (often an early warning sign for cardiovascular issues)
Energy and vitality restoration
Stress management and mental resilience
Strengthening and stretching classes specifically designed for men to build muscle, improve posture, reduce injury risk and support long-term heart health
Everything is confidential and tailored to how men actually live and work. You choose your level of support each month — with full GP oversight and prescriptions where clinically appropriate.

Migraines are far more than “just a headache” — they can be debilitating, affecting work, family life and daily function for hundreds of thousands of New Zealanders.
The GP offers a dedicated, doctor-led migraine service that combines medical treatment with practical lifestyle strategies to reduce frequency, severity and duration of attacks.
Our approach includes:
Personalised prevention plans using evidence-based medications such as propranolol, topiramate, amitriptyline and other traditional preventives, as well as newer CGRP monoclonal antibodies when appropriate
Acute treatment optimisation for faster relief during attacks
Trigger identification and lifestyle management (sleep, stress, hydration, diet, exercise)
Strengthening and stretching classes to reduce neck and shoulder tension — a common migraine trigger
Cost and access Traditional preventive medications are often funded or low-cost. The newer CGRP antibodies are currently private (not funded by Pharmac for most patients) with an approximate monthly cost of NZD 650–950. As The GP we can assess suitability and prescribe the most appropriate option for you, with simple self-injection at home for the CGRP treatments. Regular reviews are needed to monitor effectiveness and side effects, though.
You remain in full control. Choose or adjust your support level each month — from up to monthly GP reviews and medication management to added lifestyle coaching or group education sessions.
